I love wine, food and life. I love New York City. I love the East Village of Manhattan. I love all these things so much that I can’t help but write about them. I feel wine knowledge should be shared and passed on. I believe there is an ocean of great wine out there under twenty bucks. I want to talk to people about wine and food and life and want them to feel free to talk to me about it. Wine can be enjoyed without pretense and that is my major focus. Enjoy your blog. I visited the east village on a recent weekend getaway and enjoyed the ambiance and browsing a couple of wine stores. Had a great dinner at Kinf + Fork on East 4th, great chefs tasting menu paired with perfect wines.

The East Village is a wonderful place isn’t it? If you want to spend five bucks or five hundred there is a place for you and no questions asked. I have been meaning to go to Knife + Fork for some time now. I actually run a wine bar on the same street two blocks east and have always wondered about the wine on the list with the same name as the establishment. Do you by any chance know about this?
